The Riches

This image represents the Smith house. A beautiful, elegant, home, just as it is portrayed.
This is Grace, she is in shock, she doesn't know how to react to the loss of her parents. She is sixteen, and will be all alone. Even with the comfort from the Bradly's she is scared, confused, and overall in a state of shock.
Grace is mourning the loss of her parents they deserve to be together forever, and  this would be the phase in Grace's life when she would be trying to move on, and remember the good.
This bloody knife symbolizes the knife used to kill Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
The Smith Range, just a way of recognizing how important this land was to the Smith family, and that it was something big, not only was it a home, but it was a family farm or ranch, and it turns out it was worth to much for it to only be sentimental.
The Sheriff badge represents the authority figure in "The Riches". He was the one who tried to figure out who killed the Smith's and why.
This oil refinery represents what the killer wanted, and why. He was greedy, and willing to take lives because of his hostility towards such a compassionate family unit.
This image is what the killer deserved. He deserved to be trapped behind bars alone in the dark, just as he left Grace.
The cash shows what Tucker and Sally were willing to deny, and how much they loved, and respected their family's land.
These two men talking is to show how Tucker and Mr. Bradly had a simple relationship. They didn't pry into each others business, instead were friends, and respected one another.

My Movie, My Song.

Edward Scissorhands has been my favorite movie for almost three years. Often I compare new experiences to this movie. I fell in love with this film simply for its simplicity. This is a simple love story, and everything was risked. To me this movie sets a perfect example of treasured memories, and appreciation.

I selected the album cover for Christina Aguilera, Back to Basics because this album was my first ever concert. This holds a special place in my heart because of all the memories that follow. In the seventh grade I went to her show with my mom, and I was obsessed with anything that had to do with Christina Aguilera. Her voice is powerful and moving, and her songs are very compelling.

Seven Potential Memoir Photos of Myself

I selected this path because of the shadowing of the trees, the straight and narrow pathway, and the idea of different lives on the sides. Life may wind, twist and turn, and stop in unexpected places... But when it comes down to it life seems to be about the people you surround yourself with yes, but the direction you choose to take. Each person, each family, and each group of friends desires something unique. There is no "normal", Follow your heart, doesn't matter if it is after an idol, a dream, or a fantasy, this is your life.
"Do not go where the path my lead, but instead go where there is no path and leave a trail."

I Chose this photo because of its simplicity of depicting intimacy. Love is something intense and in ways addictive. It doesn't matter who you are surrounded by, friends, family, or a lover everyone around you knows some sort of sting from love, that connection can bind a person to another.A bond is something unbearable. As a human there is no way to control who you get attached too, but there will always be a risk of loss, with the potential to gain something better.
"Its better to love, and to lose, than to have never loved at all."

Strength is a power that everyone can utilize. Whether is being physical, mental, or emotion. Strength is within us. There is a reason I have this sign tattooed on my foot. Granted this image is different, I can tell you off the internet this image is ideal because strength is a form of magic, but green is also one of my favorite colors. Don't live to be strong for others, don't live to follow the "cool" code, stay true to yourself. If you are strong for others, when they don't need you anymore what is left for you?
"With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts."

This is collage perfectly expressed the messiness, and simplicity of life. Living entails times of difficulty, and follow with times of peace. No soul can go untouched, everyone comes out with some sort of mark, scars, angel kisses, or even a bruise. This gives a clear emphasis on the similarities of life to any ocean. So beautiful, so content, but followed with a rough bite.
"I have a simple philosophy: Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches."

Meditation and chaos, two states of being that lead to one another. Experiencing chaos and meditation helps you find yourself. You are never done growing up. Age is just a number, and time is limited. Take every opportunity you can to cherish who you are, where you have been, and who you are becoming. As a person mistakes will be made, forgiveness will be granted, and sorrow will be felt. But some food for thought, karma is real. Everything happens for a reason, but depending how you handle that occurrence can influence what experiences are to come. Meditation and chaos, can be hand in hand, but the balance between chaos, and who you are will be met.
"Meditation is painful in the beginning but it bestows immortal Bliss and supreme joy in the end."
***
Experience. As you go though living you will endure many experiences and be granted many memories, leading to wishful thinking, and beautiful thoughts. Red Rocks is a place where many of my fondest memories have grown. I have wonderful friends who are willing to experience, I have friends who are willing to challenge themselves and test their personalities. This is something I admire, and I love to try. Growing, testing the boundaries of life, and coming out with an experience is what friends are for. For support through the good and bad.
"A man who carries a cat by the tail learns something he can learn in no other way."
***
This flying tree is a reflection of opportunity. This has the capability of depicting opportunity  because there is always a chance for something unreal. There is always a hope for something better. There is always a way to something new. Opportunity is something I love because it grants me the ability for anything. I can follow my dreams, further my education, and live a life that was completely unexpected; all because I will always give myself the tools to enable whatever opportunity I desire in whatever direction I feel is best.
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."

Narrative Photography

I chose this photo because it is so extraordinary. It almost looks like an optical illusion, but they are underwater, this effect makes their moment perfect. Everything around them adds and "umph" verses taking away from the people.

Music Poem

Life's all about communication.
Yet difficult for words.

A combination of conversation and sex.
Giving what is had becomes expansionary.

You're there, but you're not.
Feeling the waves of energy.

Using credibility for great return.

Capture a moment, allow emotions.
To create something bigger.

Feeling like a freak show.
Don't push it, let it flow.

Living is the greatest form of unity.
I am my natural medicine,

the soundtrack to life never has to be changed,
tapping into the essentials.

Accepting and trusting is the blood between
people who aren't related.

This is life.

Slam Poetry- Jacob Gebrewold

http://youtu.be/RD3bD1J-ocg

I chose this Jacob Gebrewold's Say it Different because it was very different. He seems young, around my age maybe older, but how he portrayed his love was very bold to me. I am typically very shy, and laid-back... I would never have the guts to do slam poetry let alone this piece. Hearing this I see confidence, and excitement. I respect him for that, and really enjoyed it overall.

Remanence

A gunshot; a terrified screech echos. The child's facial expression.

Filling with anxiety he identifies the culprits twisted smile.

And the American badge.

Scanning the dead, feeling the bloody footprints, a devastated family- reality hits.

Tasting his hopelessness, terror impinges, all virtue has faded.

Puking, shaking, panicking. The body, intestines, this souls stopped heart.

He is an American soldier, now longing for morality.

The war has set.
